Aloha, and welcome to Camp Homelani's web home. We have just finished our 2008 summer camps, and are looking forward to all that God will bless us with in both the remainder of the year and also in 2009. Through this site you will be able to see all that we have to offer in the ways of: facilities, programing, staff, and even position openings. We have posted pictures from past years as well as from this summer. We hope to post not only pictures, but videos as well to help give you a better feel of what Homelani is like. So, please feel free to explore our site, and see what all it has to offer. Here we have taken the time to keep you informed and as up to date as we possibly can on how things are here at Camp Homelani. Enjoy. If there is anything that we have missed, be it a date, event, or you just feel bad because we didn't mention you, please drop us a line from the Contact Us page, and we will do our best to fix it.
Our "Ohana Journal" is a running update on how the Homelani ohana is doing, both past and present. We will do our best to keep you updated in that area, and if there is something going on that needs to be shared, just let us know and we'll get it posted.
The "Ohana Prayer Requests" portion of our journal is one that we take very seriously. If you have something that needs to be prayed for, PLEASE let us know. The ohana will pray for them. So, please contact us with any and all prayer requests, even if they are not directly related to you, or if they are unspoken.
One of the more serious pieces of the journal is our "Protecting the Mission : Working with minors" section. This is a breif overview of the policies that are followed when working with minors.

Keeping children safe and free from sexual misconduct, physical and emotional abuse is a top priority at Camp Homelani. The Salvation Army, in its efforts to be proactive in preventing abuse of any kind has recently implemented a brand new policy that aids in our efforts to keep children safe.
This unique program assures Salvation Army all Officers, employees, and volunteers who have any contact with children through Salvation Army youth programming or care be properly screened and trained to work with children.
Keeping God’s children safe is priority as we minister to them through our programs. Camp Homelani is proud to comply with the Policies for Work With Minors and it compliments our American Camp Association (ACA) accreditation standards as well.
WAYS THAT YOU CAN HELP
There are a few things that we need to make Camp Homelani happen every year, and the demand grows as the camps get closer. You may contribute in a couple of different areas, one of which is by donating the items requested:
- CAMPER SCHOLARSHIPS
- 30 inch Bunk beds made of composite wood
- 2 Mini Vans
- Fence Replacement
- Bamboo hedge for perimeter of camp
Another way you may help Camp Homelani is to donate an amount of your choice online.
